Who We Are

Founded in honor of our grandmother, Rose Mary Fuller, the Rosie Mae Foundation was created to carry forward the love, strength, and guidance she gave so freely throughout her life. As her grandchildren, we established this foundation to continue her legacy of showing up for others, nurturing potential, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

Our grandmother believed deeply in caring for her family and community. She made sure everyone around her felt seen, supported, and capable of becoming more than their circumstances. The Rosie Mae Foundation was born from that same belief, that every young person deserves someone who believes in them and invests in their future.

The Rosie Mae Foundation is a community based nonprofit dedicated to empowering foster youth and youth living in group homes through mentorship, creativity, and workforce readiness. Through after school and summer programs, hands on learning experiences, and mentorship, we help youth discover their talents, build confidence, and develop the life and career skills needed to thrive independently.

For us, this work is deeply personal. This foundation is not only a program, but a promise. It is a promise to honor our grandmother’s name by pouring into others the same way she poured into us. We are committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where youth feel valued, inspired, and prepared to build meaningful futures.

The Rosie Mae Foundation exists to ensure that Rose Mary Fuller’s legacy lives on through every life we touch.
